The location of this development lies within a prime plot along the threshold of a rapidly transforming North District of Devil’s Tower Road. Due to its location, this development will become a beacon which will be seen by those passing by the Sundial roundabout and along the main thoroughfares from Devil’s Tower Road and Winston Churchill Avenue

Our ultimate goal was to regenerate the baron concrete mass which is the existing carpark and the vacant plot of land and create an architectural addition (on and around it) which feels intentional from the start, and not as an afterthought which has been forced onto the site and its conditions.

With the goal in mind of improving the surrounding context, enriching the urban fabric and promoting a sustainable and environmentally sensitive design, whilst also juggling the additional challenges of merging various distinct functions and structural complexities, this complex idea has been worked from mere concept and into a strong project.

This design proposal embodies all the potential and possibilities which current site conditions do not maximise and improve on. All whilst producing a sensitive low-density and low-rise development.

The site presents itself as the ideal location for this type of development, as it is within easy access to the city centre, the frontier, the airport and the various local amenities.
